Youth Festival Attracts Young People from Across the Diocese

Sixty teenagers from around the Diocese of Meath gathered in Mullingar for the Christ the King Youth Festival on Sunday.

They participated in the 40 Hours of Adoration that took place at the Cathedral over the weekend and had their own youth track in the nearby parish centre which included keynote talk from Bishop Alan McGuckian, SJ, Bishop of Down and Connor, games, testimonies, food, Confession, and prayer. They also had Mass in the Cathedral with Bishop Tom Deenihan and concluded the event by joining in Vespers with hundreds of the faithful from across the diocese.
