Congratulations to Fr. Patrick Kearney who recently retired from his position as Parish Priest of Kilskyre and Ballinlough. Parishioners gathered with Fr. Paddy, Bishop Deenihan and priests of the Diocese to mark his retirement.
Proceedings began with Mass in the Church of St. Alphonsus Liguori, Kilskyre, followed by refreshments afterwards in Teach Fáda.
Fr. Kearney previously served as Parish Priest of Longwood before moving to Kilskyre-Ballinlough in 2015. He celebrated his Golden Jubilee in 2021.
Bishop Deenihan, priests and parishioners express their deepest gratitude to Fr. Kearney for his faithful, dedicated ministry and pastoral care in the Diocese of Meath and wish him well in his retirement. May the good Lord bless him with peace, joy, and good health in his new season of life.
