Annual National Novena in Knock

This year’s National Novena to Our Lady of Knock will takes place from 13 to 21 August at the International Eucharistic and Marian Shrine in Knock, Co Mayo, in the Archdiocese of Tuam.

The 2025 year’s theme, ‘Pilgrims of Hope’, draws on this being the universal Church’s Jubilee Year of Hope, and it invites all to embark on a journey of faith and reflection, rooted in the enduring message of ‘Hope’ of the Knock Apparition.

All are welcome to attend the nine-day faith filled gathering which, each day, includes a distinguished group of guest speakers who will offer reflections and insights on the theme: Pilgrims of Hope. These renowned speakers will reflect on how Christian hope has revealed itself in their own lives and work.

During the novena, ceremonies take place each day at 3.00pm and 8.00pm in Knock Basilica, and the Rosary Procession takes place each afternoon after the 3.00pm ceremony, weather permitting.
