Tara to Slane Pilgrim Walk - 25 Years

"Pilgrims of Hope"

Tara to Slane Pilgrim Walk - 25 Years

This year marked the 25th anniversary of the first Tara to Slane pilgrim walk during the Great Jubilee of 2000. In this Jubilee Year, the pigrim walk gave expression to our identity as “pilgrims of hope” .

95 pilgrim walkers took part from Navan and surrounding parishes. They received a welcome from parishioners and volunteers at Tara, the Hill of Skryne, Walterstown Church, Yellow Furze, and Slane.

The pilgrims were joined by Bishop Deenihan for Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Slane.
