Service of Lourdes Hospitalité Honoured

On Friday last members of the Meath Lourdes Hospitalité, volunteers and pilgrims joined in St. James' Church, Athboy to celebrate our annual Mass in memory of those who have died during the year.

During the Mass, Bihop Deenihan presented silver and bronze medals to members of our Lourdes Hospitalité in recognition of their dedication, commitment and faithful service to the Meath Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes.

During his homily, Fr. Joe Gallagher VG, Director of the diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes expressed his appreciation to all involved in this year's pilgrimage. He reflected that while the composition of the pilgrimage has evolved in recent years, the message of Lourdes and the call of Our Lady to "Come in procession" remains the same.
