Diocese Celebrates the Rite of Election
"I now declare you to be membersof the elect, to be initiated into the sacred mysteries at the next Easter vigil."
Bishop Tom celebrated the Rite of Election with catechumens and their godparents from across the Diocese on the First Sunday of Lent. Candidates will celebrate the Rite of Initiation into the Church at Easter in the parishes of Ashbourne-Donaghmore, Duleek, St. Mary's-Drogheda, and Mullingar. Our sincere gratitude to their catechists and those involved with their instruction. We wish them every blessing for the remainder of their preparation.
