Parishioners gathered to mark the centenary of the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, Kinnegad on Sunday 06 June last. Cardinal Brady was the guest of honour on the occasion and principal celebrant of a Mass presided by Most Rev Michael Smith. The liturgy was organised by Fr Tom Gilroy PP and the parish liturgy group.

After the celebrations, the congregation retired to refreshments in the Hilamar Hotel.
